Order data: items purchased, delivery address, order history, payment status.
Payment data: transaction amounts and status. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored by Afrofresh.
Usage data: pages visited, search queries, cart interactions (to improve the platform).
Communications: emails you send us and your email engagement (opens, clicks) where you have opted in.

3. How We Use Your Data

To process and fulfil your orders and handle refunds.
To send order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery notification emails.
To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
To personalise your shopping experience and surface relevant stores and products.
To send you promotional offers (only with your consent; unsubscribe at any time).
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Sharing Your Data

We share necessary order details (name, delivery address, items) with the Merchant fulfilling your order. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use the following trusted service providers:

Supabase — database and authentication.
Stripe — payment processing.
Resend — transactional email delivery.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order records are kept for 7 years for financial and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account at any time; we will delete personal data that we are not legally required to retain.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and cart. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
